Sister Rezwana Parveen has been a valued member of the Cheadle Medical Practice team for just over a year. Joining the practice as a newly qualified nurse straight from university, she has quickly gained confidence, developed a wide range of skills, and undergone additional training. This includes qualifications in asthma and COPD reviews, blood pressure monitoring, smears, blood tests, contraception consultations, injections, and both child and adult immunisations. Rezwana has thoroughly enjoyed her first year as a practice nurse and is excited about the future and the opportunities ahead.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her friends and family.
Rezwana shares that her motivation for becoming a nurse was to give back to the community and demonstrate that newly qualified nurses can achieve their dream roles, which, for her, is in practice nursing.
